PURPOSE:To easily obtain a print output in which a non-image part for a file margin or a fold margin is provided by providing a non-picture part to a front side or a rear of a transferred member and forming a picture data in response to a command of a command means through the control of a picture forming means. CONSTITUTION:When optional four pages of picture data are printed on paper P, for example, a function providing a fold margin automatically is set on by an operating panel 60. Let a length of the paper P in the carrying direction be (c), the width of the paper P be (b), a side margin be (s), a fold margin be (n) and a length of a print signal be (d), then the fold margin (n) is set freely from the operating panel 60. That is, when the sum of the side margin, the length of the print signal and the fold margin is shorter than a half the length of the paper P, the fold margin is extended so that a same print start position is obtained. In other cases, a numeral with lower priority is revised according to the priority (d>n>s). |
