PURPOSE:To automatically change over an operation state corresponding to which order system printing data belongs to by mounting a selection means selecting a printing processing system for interpreting the printing data of an order system on the basis of the discrimination result of a discriminating means to start the same. CONSTITUTION:An engine control circuit 2 has respective order system interpreting parts 201, 202, 203 in which programs interpreting the data described according to order systems A, B, C are stored. An input buffer 204 storing the data sent from a host apparatus 100, a judging part 205 reading the data stored in the input buffer 204 at every certain partition and comparing and collating the printer control command considered to be contained in a file with three kinds of preliminarily prepared tables to judge which of the order systems can interpret the file and a switch change-over part 206 changing over the order system interpreting parts 201, 202, 203 on the basis of the result of the judging part 205 are provided. |
