PURPOSE:To provide an industrial CT scanner which enables inspection with the alteration of the generations to adapt to the online application of the inspection of an object to be inspected, by providing a multichannel detector comprising a number of detector elements on a concentric circle of a radiation generator capable of irradiation on the entire circumference centered thereon. CONSTITUTION:A radiation detector 11 adapted to totally radiate a radiation, for example, X rays over 360 deg. is arranged almost at the center of a scanner body 10. A multichannel detector 12 comprising hundreds to thousands of detection elements 12a... is provided in a ring on a concentric circle or the radiation detector 11 centered thereon in such a manner that each of the detector elements 12a... is made directive generally to be directed to the focus of the radiation generator 11. Such a positional relation among detector elements permits the data collection from second to fourth generation. |
