PURPOSE:To exactly detect an interval of lines and to exactly evaluate the non-uniformity of the interval of lines by deriving a projection distribution, deriving a position of a center line of each recessed part of the projection distribution, and deriving an interval of each adjacent center line. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of an illuminating device 2 for illuminating recording paper 1 to be evaluated, a television camera 3 for photographing the surface of the recording paper 1 to be evaluated, a monitor television 4, and an image processor 5 for processing an image photographed by the television camera 3. In such a state, a projection distribution being a distribution in the direction vertical to a line pattern of a value obtained by adding brightness of the image photographed by the television camera 3 to the direction of the line pattern being an image of a line is derived, a position of a center line of each recessed part of the projection distribution is derived, an interval between each adjacent center line is derived, and the variance amount of the interval is calculated. In such a way, the line interval can be detected exactly, and nonconformity of the interval of the lines can be evaluated exactly. |
