Flow measurement sensor for wall mounted or in-flow use - has functional elements on tubular body mounted in measurement pin or over measurement body

The flow measurement sensor either mounted in a wall of a flow channel or in the form of a measurement tube in the flow contains functional elements (5,6,9) mounted on a tubular measurement body (3). In the wall mounted case, the body is inserted into the cylindrical part of a measurement pin (2) protruding into the flow and is in thermal contact with the pin's inner wall. In the second case, the body is mounted over the measurement tube and brought into thermal contact with it. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for use in calorimetric flow attenuators. Is simpler and less costly to manufacture than earlier types.
