PURPOSE:To surely and accurately inspect lines even when the interval between lines is narrow and in whatever arrangement they may be provided by regarding a standard picture from one end to other end of one line as one section forming a section at every line, similarly providing sections for a picture to be inspected and comparing both pictures at every section. CONSTITUTION:The image of a standard article is picked up by a CCD camera to obtain a standard picture. A line from end to end in this picture is regarded as one section. The section is provided on every line. A picture to be inspected has sections similarly to the standard picture. These pictures are compared with each other successively at every corresponding section to determine the propriety. Thus, even when the interval between the lines is narrow and in whatever arrangement the lines may be provided, they can be effectively and accurately inspected. Further, in the case where bar codes are colored, as well, the propriety thereof can be similarly precisely judged. |
