摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent speed change shock by using a learned value learned at the former time for controlling decrease in an engine output at this time, and starting controlling of decrease in the engine output after the time as equal as the learning value preliminarily calculated is passed at the time of starting speed change operation. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission 12 is provided with a transmission system 34a-34c for speed change to respective speed change levels and a lockup mechanism 36 which locks up a specified speed change level, and is controlled by a control unit 38. Whether or not an engine output is decreased at a specified quantity at the time of speed change operation, namely time lag Ta until the rotational speed at the input side reaches to the point of change from the time when the speed change operation of the automatic transmission 12 is started, is measured. Then after starting control decrease in output, time lag Tc required for the finishment of output decrease is subtracted from the time lag Ta. As a result, the value Tb obtained by the subtraction is learned for a specified time so as to calculate the learning value Tb(LRN). After the time lapse of the learning value Tb(LRN) from the starting time of speed change operation, the control of decrease in the output is started.</p>
