PURPOSE:To perform affine transformation at a high speed by approximating and displaying a circular graphic with a symmetrical polygon inscribing thereon. CONSTITUTION:A first operation for calculating the coordinates of the respective vertexes of a symmetrical polygon inscribing on a circular graphic is performed. A second operation for executing affine transformation to the respective vertex coordinates is carried out. Then, the picture of segments for connecting the respective vertex coordinates is displayed. Thus, it is not required to have the solution of a quadratic equation because of the generation of the data of the circular graphic, so that display speed can be increased. Since it is not necessary to generate all dots in the display of the affine transformation, the affine transformation can be carried out at a high speed. |
