PURPOSE:To control arbitrarily a distribution of specific gravity of a platelike molded material, by a method wherein a fiber bundle where a large number of long fibers are bundled and arranged in a thin stratified state is advanced continuously toward an impregnation rest and an expandable hardening resin solution is spread on the fiber bundles each through a spreading nozzle arranged on the upper part. CONSTITUTION:Fiber bundles G1-G3 where a large number of long fibers are bundled and arranged in a thin stratified state are advanced continuously toward an impregnation rest 2, an expandable hardening resin solution is spread on the fiber bundles G1-G2 each through spreading nozzles 201-203 arranged on the upper part of the fiber bundles G1-G2 each and the same is stuck to them during their advance. The stratified fiber bundles G1-G3 each to which the resin solution is stuck are pinch-held respectively among impregnation rests 21-23 and an impregnation plate 3 arranged on the upper part of the impregnation rest 21-23 and at the same time they are reciprocated in a widthwise direction. With this construction, the resin solution is infiltrated respectively into the fiber bundles G1-G3 each, the fiber bundles G1-G3 each into which the resin is infiltrated are led to a molding passage by converging them, within which foaming and curing of the resin solution are performed. |
