<p>Microstrip-type slow wave transmission line, comprising a first lower conducting layer serving as a ground plane, a second upper conducting layer in the shape of a strip with specific transversal and longitudinal dimensions, and a third non-conducting material (1, 2) arranged between the two conducting layers. This transmission line has, longitudinally, a periodic structure, each period, of length μ, being formed from a bridge (4) followed by a support (13). Each bridge consists of an upper conducting strip section (12), of a length μ1<μ, arranged on the surface of said first part (1) of the third dielectric material. Furthermore, each support (13) is a capacitor which can be an active or passive element. The first conducting layer (11) comprises recesses (5) under each bridge. A directional coupler (50) can be produced by means of such slow wave lines, and used to produce an integrated single antenna emitter-receiver device. Application: monolithic ultrahigh frequency integrated circuits.</p> |
