The cold rolled steel plate of good shape-freezing property is produced by keeping low-carbon steel at 1000-1300 deg.C for 1-2 hours, hot-rolling at the temperature of above Ar3 transformation point, winding at the above 600 deg.C, cold-rolling at 70-80 % winding reduction, condinuously annealing at above recrystallization temperature.
