<p>PURPOSE:To make an operator notice an urgent warning message without switching the screens by informing an emergent error detected by an OS to other OSs when a message is shown on the screen of a terminal containing plural OSs. CONSTITUTION:The primary part of a message display device consists of a KB/CRT 21, an OS 1, an OS 2, an application software 3, a message relaying program 4, a KB/CRT program 5, a message control program 6, and a KB/CRT control program 7. The back OS 1 and the fore OS 2 are provided with the programs 4 and 6 respectively, and the information are given to both programs 4 and 6. Thus a message is displayed on a CRT. Thus an urgent warning message is given to an operator without switching the screen to the OS having an error.</p> |
