PURPOSE:To provide an unmanned carrier vehicle which is highly practical, and which is applicable over a wide range, by providing a vehicle body with a non-carrier section and a carrier section having a means for elevating a cargo carrier surface so that the loading and unloading of cargo can be made even in a narrower place, in addition to the capability of the normal transportation. CONSTITUTION:The torques of motors 5L, 5R are transmitted to drive wheels 9L, 9R by way of belts 15L, 15R, respectively, and accordingly, a vehicle runs rectilinearly when the wheels are rotated at an equal speed but turns its direction when the wheels are rotated at different speeds. Since the driven wheels 9L, 9R are located in the middle section of the vehicle body, if one of wheels is rotated while the other is stopped or if both are rotated in different directions, it can perform a spin turn. Meanwhile, when an elevating motor 10 is operated so as to wind up cables onto the pulley 16, the leading ends of the respective cables 17L, 17R pull up the lower side of a carrier bed 8, and accordingly the carrier bed 8 is floated up, but when it is reversed it can be returned to the original position. |
