Germinating bags of air permeable material are formed from a sack with vertical divisions to form neighbouring sections (4, 5) in a row, but sepd. from each other and can be filled and emptied separately or in gps.. Suspensions (13,13'; 14,14'; 15,15') are distributed along the whole width of the sack. Filling wt. is distributed across the suspensions equally in the sections (4,5). Suspensions (13,13'; 14,14'; 15,15'), above and/or below the bag sections (4,5), are as gripping perforations, projecting loops above and/or below each bag section, or a hollow seam across the whole sack width with a rod (15) projecting at both ends. Openings to fill the bag sections are at the ends which become the bottom to be emptied at the other end. Sack, with the bag sections, is part of a continuous sacking web. Vertical divisions, to form the bag sections (4,5), leave a projecting flap running across only part of the sack height. Sack material is a leno of polyethylene, polypropylene and/or a mixed ribbon weave, or a Raschel of polyethylene, polypropylene and/or a mixt.. Sack is divided into three to five bag sections (4,5), and pref. four sections, all of equal width. USE/ADVANTAGE - For seed potatoes and similar plant crops. Bags are easily filled and emptied, and the material is undamaged while being moved in the filling and emptying stages and also during germination and resting.
