PURPOSE:To protect a deflection circuit and to facilitate the discrimination of a fault location of an oscillation circuit by controlling an output from a DC voltage conversion means so as to be decreased when the oscillation circuit is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When an oscillation circuit 16 of a DC voltage conversion sec tion stops the operation, a transistor(TR) 36 is interrupted. Thus, since an emit ter current of a TR 34 flows to a resistor 35, the emitter current is limited, the collector current of a TR 33 is less than a regular value and power fed to a deflection circuit 41 is reduced. Thus, a voltage applied to the deflection circuit 41 is reduced when the operation of the oscillation circuit 16 is stopped to protect the deflection circuit 41 and an output of the DC voltage conversion section is not stopped, resulting in facilitating fault diagnosis. |
