MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING BASE BODY FOR LEAD BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the development of burr and to avoid variance of composi tion with remelt of the burr by setting a caramic porous body having the limited size of holes into a main skeleton carving part at lower part of base body in a mold. CONSTITUTION:The alumina ceramic porous body 8 having 0.1-0.15mm hole diameter is set to the main skeleton carving part 9 at the lower part of base body in the mold 1' to manufacture the base body 7'. By this constitution, the burr is not developed and unnecessary part as the base body is not necessary to cut. Therefore, the quantity of heat for remelting the unnecessary part is unnecessary and the variance of composition in lead alloy can be avoided.
