PURPOSE:To obtain the title additive protecting a biologically active substance from gastric juice in rumen and efficiently absorbing said substance in digestive organs in and after abomasum by coating core granules molded from a biologically active substance and a protective substance with a specific protecting coating film and further with a titanium oxide-containing coating film. CONSTITUTION:Core granules containing both a biologically active substance (preferably methionine, lysine hydrochloride or vitamins) and a protective substance (preferably bivalent metallic salt of mixed fatty acid having 30-50 deg.C melting point and water-soluble higher fatty acid, etc.) are coated with a protecting coating film consisting of a salt of fatty acid (preferably bivalent metallic salt of a mixed fatty acids having 30-50 deg.C melting point) insoluble in a neutral range and shows decomposing properties in an acidic range and a water- insoluble substance (preferably higher fatty acid, higher alcohol or glycerin mono-fatty acid ester) having compatibility with the salt of fatty acid and further with a titanium oxide-containing coating film to give the objective additive. |
