<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly load a tape under constant tension by controlling the tape tension with a tension arm inclined at a prescribed angle for its arm angle during the tape loading. CONSTITUTION:An angle of the tension arm 21 is detected by an angle detector 41 and converted into a voltage, and the angle detecting voltage Vtheta corresponding to this arm angle is inputted to an A/D converter 42, from which an angle voltage data DTtheta to be obtained is inputted to a tape loading control circuit 43. Then, a driving current IRL showing torque of a reel motor 44 for driving a supply reel 1A is inputted to the converter 42, and a torque current data DTRL to be obtained here is inputted to the circuit 43. As a result, a tension control data or a torque control data from the circuit 43 is inputted to a pulse width modulation circuit 46 to be converted into a pulse signal having a pulse width corresponding to a data value concerned. This pulse signal is converted into a DC current by a DC converting circuit 47, and the supply reel 1A is controlled in its rotation, so that desired tension can be given to the magnetic tape 2.</p> |
