PURPOSE:To discriminate a product by plural inspection items, and to improve the correctness of product discrimination operation by providing a zone control means, a unit discrimination data generating means, and an overall discrimination data generating means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 15 sets one or plural zones (window) within the picture signal of one photographed picture. The device is provided with the zone control means 50 to control analyzing operation in an arithmetic processing part 14 so as to be executed by a window unit, and by comparing the analysis data of every window obtained by the control of the zone control means 50 with a reference value K, the discrimination data of the window unit is generated. It is provided with n-pieces of the unit discrimination data generating means 30(1) to 30(n). Then, it is provided with the overall discrimination data generating means 40 to execute overall discrimination based on each discrimination data of the window unit. Thus, plural elements can be decided at a time by one decision system, and each decision can be decided synthetically, and the creditability of a discriminated result can be greatly raised. |
