DECOMPOSITION OF CELLS FORMING AGGLUTINATE

PURPOSE:To carry out the subject ready decomposition of cells without clogging of an apparatus by applying a specified pretreatment to a suspension containing cells forming the agglutinate for causing peptization thereof, subsequently forming the peptized cells into frozen fine particles, then injecting the particles for making the particles collide each other. CONSTITUTION:A suspension containing cells forming the agglutinate is initially sprayed by using an atomizer having small holes of 0.1-0.8mm hole diameter under 10-150kg/cm<3> injection pressure kept by a pressurization of an inert gas to the cells to prepare a suspension containing the cells dispersed in a dispersion medium. The above-mentioned pretreated cell-suspension is then formed into frozen fine particles using a known method and the resultant frozen particles are subsequently injected to give an impact force due to collision thereto and to give damage to cell wall thereby.
