<p>PURPOSE:To prevent variation of sensitivity due to vibration by a method wherein two lead rods, having an electrode attached to the tip, are inserted into an impulse- proof, having high electric insulating property, from both ends of the pipe, and after metal powder is put into between the electrodes and gas of about 1 atmospheric pressure is sealed therein, the pressure corresponding to the sensitivity of a coherer is applied between both electrodes, both ends of the pipe and the lead rod are fixed using a bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:Silver-plated electrodes 4 and 5, which are made of brass, are attached to the tip of brass lead rods 2 and 3, and they are inserted into hard synthetic resin pipe 1, having both impulse-resisting property and high electric insulating property, from both ends of the pipe 1 in such a manner that the electrodes 4 and 5 will be positioned opposing to each other leaving an interval of about 3mm. Mixture of metal, containing 95% nickel powder and 5% copper powder, is placed between both electrodes 4 and 5, and one atmospheric pressure of mixed, gas consisting of 50% air and 50% nitrogen, is introduced. Then, pressure is applied while the sensitivity measuring instrument 9, which is attached to both lead rods 2 and 3 of a coherer, is being looked at, and when the required sensitivity is obtained, both ends of the pipe 1 and the lead rods 2 and 3 are fixed using a bonding agent 7.</p> |
