PURPOSE:To avoid interruption of communication on its way by informing fault information by call dependent management from an exchange station to a network management center, allowing the center to retrieve a fault block based on the information and allowing the exchange station to implement the changeover to a designated substitute route. CONSTITUTION:For example, a fault takes place in a line 103, a call monitor 1 of an exchange station 100 finds out calls A, B through a line 103 to stop the flow of callers 510, 520 and applies route-resetting request to a network management center 500. A route setting controller 3 of the center 500 inquires about a fault state to a station 200 based on the sent route information and selects a line 104 when the disabled communication is discriminated, and gives a command to the stations 100, 200 to reset in the line 104. A route resetting device 2 of the stations 100, 200 applies route resetting by the line 104 according to a command from the center 500. Thus, interruption of communication on its way due to a fault is avoided.
