DETERMINANT GENE DNA OF FISH PATHOGENIC STRAIN AND ITS USE

NEW MATERIAL:A DNA of 352 bp which has a base sequence of the formula and which is a determinant gene of fish pathogenic bacterium: Aeromonas hydrophila or Aeromonas salmonicida strain. USE:A reagent for identifying the fish pathogenic Aeromonas hydrophila or Aeromonas salmonicida strain, etc. PREPARATION:The chromosomal DNA of Aeromonas salmonicida is extracted and the DNA of vector plasmid pUC 119 is also extracted. Both the DNAs are digested. The prepared BamHI digestion fragments of the Aeromonas salmonicida are cloned with a vector plasmid DNA pUC 119. A recombinant plasmid DNA is replicated by the transformation of Escherichia coli and the clone of a digestion fragment of the Aeromonas salmonicida DNA is screened, followed by identifying the bacterium.
