The invention relates to a device for locking a drawer (1) which is guided displaceably in guides of a housing, preferably in the form of a workshop trolley, and which can be pulled out of the housing selectively on one of the sides located opposite one another. To prevent the drawer (1) from being pushed out inadvertently, there are arranged, at least on one of the longitudinal sides (1b) of the drawer (1) which extend parallel to the direction of displacement, two locking levers (2, 3) which are each mounted pivotably between a locking position and a release position about an axis (4) extending at right angles to the direction of displacement and which are equipped with a stop edge (7). Arranged on the housing is at least one stop (8) which interacts with the stop edges (7) of the locking levers (2, 3) and which locks the drawer (1) in its middle position in the housing. Each of the locking levers (2, 3) is pivotable from a front side (1c) of the drawer (1) out of the locking position, caused by a force acting constantly on the locking lever (2, 3), into the release position. <IMAGE> |
