<p>PURPOSE:To simplify installation of a discharge lamp and ensure the safety by mounting a pin protrusively on the outer wall of a reflex mirror, connecting the lead of a light emitting tube with this pin, and accomplishing a reflex type discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:In a reflex type discharge lamp concerned, a light emitting tube 1 is secured by cement 5 to a reflex mirror 3 made of ceramic, glass, etc. A pin 23 provided with a flange 23a is mounted protrusively on the outer wall of this reflex mirror 3 in its central part 3c, and a lead 7 of the light emitting tube 1 is connected with this pin. Another pin 25 provided with flange 25a is embedded in the outer wall of the reflex mirror 3 at its periphery 3a, and another lead 15 of the light emitting tube 1 is connected with this pin 25. External connecting wires can be connected safety and simply by a socket, and therein no countermeasure for high voltage pulse leakage is needed.</p> |
