CONSTITUTION:In order to manufacture a polycrystal diamond tool by a vapor phase composite method, Raman shift quantity of the diamond of a base material face side is shifted to a high wave number side more than 1332.5cm<-1>, by leading a nitrogen atom containing gas in addition to a hydrogen gas and carbon atom containing gas into a reaction system. Yet, a diamond film thickness is made in more than 40mum, by shifting the Raman shift quantity of the diamond of a vapor phase development face side to a lower wave number side than 1332.5cm<-1>, by leading an oxygen atom containing inorganic gas in addition to a hydrogen gas and carbon atom containing gas into the reaction system. Thereafter, this base material is removed, the developed face side of the diamond film is made a brazing face and brazed on a base metal.
