PURPOSE:To improve the working accuracy by stopping and releasing the irradiation of laser beam at a direction-changing point on a laser beam machine which moves pulse laser beam and a working table relatively. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam machine relatively moving on an X-Y table 15 are provided a means which irradiates one pulse of laser beam whenever it detects that an amount of movement by one pulse shows a prescribed value and a means which sends an arrival signal at the direction-changing point, stops the irradiation of the laser beam and releases it with the movement to another direction. In this way, since the irradiation of the laser beam is performed at a prescribed pitch in spite of change of its machining speed, a groove, a surface layer of a laminated body, a corner part and an acute angle part can be cut with high accuracy. |
