<p>PURPOSE:To avoid a trouble without need of new re-definition of a wavelength for each optical wavelength switch and of processing a signal by giving a control light of an optical wavelength switch at first to each column of an optical switch section and superimposing the light onto a signal light. CONSTITUTION:A signal light whose wavelength is lambda0 radiates from a signal line source (SIG) 1 and a controller(CTL) 2 controls wavelength variable light source(VS) 3, 4 by an address of an optical signal. The VS 3 outputs a light of a wavelength controlling an optical wavelength switch(WLS) 7 of a 1st column of an optical switch section(PHS) 6 and the VS 4 outputs a light of a wavelength controlling an optical wavelengths switch(WLS) 8 of a 2nd column of the optical switch section(PHS) 6 and an optical synthesizer MIX 5 synthesizes an output of the SIG 1 and the outputs of the VS 3, 4. The output of the MIX 5 in the WLS 7 is given to the WLS 8, 10 by the light from the VS 3 and only the signal light whose wavelength is lambda0 is outputted from an output port by using the light from the VS 4 in the WLS 8, 10. Thus, it is not required to re-define newly a wavelength for each optical wavelength switch.</p> |
