<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an extraordinarily large quantity of switches, to closely arrange contact intervals up to certain width so as to enable slide control, to instantaneously retrieve the large amount of data and commands by the designation of coordinates and a sliding operation and to prevent an input function from being lowered by minimization by adding position information into the switches to be simultaneously operated with plural contacts. CONSTITUTION:In the group of the switches linearly arranged by using many contacts on a smooth surface, a contact group SG excepting for a common electrode C1 is constituted and arranged as follows. The arrangement equipped with three tier contacts such as the set of blocks which are composed of an N piece of conductors adding the position information of a binary code, the block of contacts and the contact are arranged as one cycle and these tier contacts are one-dimensionally arranged repeatedly while being arranged again. In such a case, when the number of contacts in the block set is defined as B and N=B X (number of contacts in a group G), the G shows the number of contacts only in an even-number bit excepting for 2 bits. Then, each block is composed of plural contacts only in a group selected for each contact out of plural groups. Thus, operability can be improved by more variously arranging keys making a device compact.</p> |
