PURPOSE:To improve dispersibility of ceramic powder by blending ceramic powder with a water soluble acrylic emulsion, water soluble polyurethane resin, polycarboxylic acid ammonium salt, water and NH3 at specific amounts. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. ceramic powder is blended with 9-13 pts.wt. water soluble acrylic emulsion, <=10 pts.wt. water soluble polyurethane resin, <=1 pt.wt. polycarboxylic acid ammonium salt, 10-20 pts.wt. water and <=1 pt.wt. NH3 to prepare ceramic slurry. The ceramic slurry is formed into a sheet-like article by a doctor blade method, etc., and dried by heating to give a ceramic sheet having desired thickness, which is then formed into a prescribed shape and calcined to provide a sintered compact reduced in warp and having high density. |
