PURPOSE:To obtain a rear wheel steering gear high in reliability and excellent in safety by interposing a control valve, for controlling operating fluid pressure to be fed to an actuator according to the steered quantity of a steering wheel, between operating fluid pressure source and an actuator. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel is steered, a worm sector 22H is rotated in association with the rotation of a stab shaft 22A, and the spool 54 of a control valve 50 performs its stroke inside a hole 52. When the steering quantity is large, the stroke of the spool 54 becomes large, so that specified throttle is formed by the center land 54A of the spool 54 and a center annular groove 52A, and the throttle quantity thereafter becomes comparatively large with the increase of stroke. In association with this, the pressure of an output port also becomes large proportionally, and this pressure is supplied to either one of the right and left pressure chambers of a rear wheel actuator so as to steer a rear wheel in the reverse direction to the front wheel steering direction. |
