PURPOSE:To improve relative permittivity by mixing 100 pts.wt. of specific basic component, and 0.2-5 pts.wt. of specific additive component of a specific range of a triangular diagram of mol% of composition range, and firing the mixture to form a dielectric porcelain composition. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. of basic component represented by formula I and 0.2-5 pts.wt. of additive component containing Li2O, SiO2 and MO (MO is metal oxide of one or more types selected from BaO, SrO, CaO, MgO and ZnO) are mixed and fired to form dielectric porcelain composition. The composition range of the additive component is disposed in a range surrounded by straight lines for sequentially coupling points A-B-C-D-E-A of a triangular diagram shown by mole % of the composition range of the additive component, and hence its relative permittivity can be set to 3000 or more.
