<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling and mounting/dismounting at inspection to improve serviceability by providing a locking means to hold an air bag lid on a prescribed position and a releasing means to release the holding. CONSTITUTION:The rotational movable supporting point on the upper end part of an upper lid 18 and the rotational movable supporting point on the lower end part of a lower lid 19 are connected with a belt like elastic body 23 so as to pull each other on respective back sides. Engaging projections 26, 27 are provided facing to the back sides of respective lids 18, 19, and when the respective lids 15, 19 are rotationally moved and overlapped, the projections are inserted through the holes of the opposing piece 20b of a supporting bracket 20, and restricted and supported with a spring 33 to be held in a decided position. At releasing the holding, a pressing tool 45 is inserted into gaps between an instrument panel and respective lids 18, 19 and a lock releasing means 43 is pushingly moved. hereby, locking is released. Consequently, assembling and mounting/dismounting at inspection and the like of an air bag unit is easily performed.</p> |
