ANTI-SHRINKAGE MATERIAL

摘要

An anti-contraction material esp. for steel cast into ingots comprises powder and fibrous materials, compacted into plate form corresponding to dimensions of moulds used, and contains (all wt.%): 45-60 quartz sand of 0.1-0.2 mm particle size; 10-55 expanded perlite, of 1-0.2 mm size; 10-20 paper waste; 5 refractory clay of a 10% max. retained on a 0.9 mm mesh sieve; 5-10 sodium-ligno-sulphonate powders and 5-10 starch.
