PURPOSE:To form an image high in resolution and precision by specifying the volume average particle diameter of a polyester type resin containing a nonmagnetic colorant, incorporating a binder resin composed essentially of diol components and dicarboxylic components and a specified salt-forming compound, and specifying the absolute value of electrification of a fluidity- enhancing agent. CONSTITUTION:The color toner to be used comprises the polyester type resin containing the nonmagnetic colorant having a volume average particle diameter of 4 - 10mmu, the binder resin composed mainly of the diol components and the dicarboxylic components and the salt-forming compound represented by formula I, and the fluidity-enhancing agents at least one of which has the abso lute value of a quantity triboelectrified with a carrier of <=20muC/g. In formula I, R1 is 1 - 6C alkyl; each of R2 and R3 is 1 - 18C alkyl; and R4 is 1 - 8C alkyl or benzyl, thus permitting copied images each high in resolution, precision, and image quality to be obtained and electrification to be prevented from becom ing too large even under low humidity. |
