[Class 40 (v).] Communication is effected between a stationary and a movable station, by the radiation of waves of speech frequency from an open oscillatory circuit and reception by a further open oscillatory circuit. The two circuits may comprise aerials arranged parallel to one another. A valve amplifier may be interposed between the microphone and aerial or aerial and telephone instrument and a combined transmitter and receiver may be provided with switching to enable the amplifier to be used for either purpose.
