PURPOSE:To allow a subscriber to easily obtain parking lot information by registering idle information for each parking lot by each service area into an automobile telephone exchange with update based on report and informing the idle state of all parking lots in the service area resident in the subscriber in voice with respect to a special number dial from the automobile telephone subscriber. CONSTITUTION:Parking lot information representing occupied or idle state is sent from each parking lot via a parking lot information transmission terminal equipment, a repeater provided to an automobile telephone radio base station transfers the parking lot information to an automobile telephone exchange 4 via a line and the automobile telephone exchange 4 stores the parking place information into a parking place information memory. On the other hand, when an automobile telephone subscriber 10 dials a special number of the parking lot information service, the automobile telephone exchange 4 connects the subscriber to an information notice device in charge of the service area from which the special number is sent and the information notice device detects and informs an address and a name of an idle parking lot in the service area from the parking lot information memory, then the automobile telephone subscriber recognizes the information of all nearby idle parking lots by only dialing the specific number. |
