PURPOSE:To make large traveling force so as to be given a movable body as well as to enable it to do constant speed drive or rapid traverse without using a chain or the like by situating the movable body in a position being opposed to a movable body feeder on a specified route and then letting this feeder act on a pressure receiving body. CONSTITUTION:This traveling equipment is provided with a trolley unit 4 which is supported and guided by a symmetrical pair of rails 1 being supported at the side of a ceiling beam and being free of travel motion on a specified route 3, and this trolley unit 4 is made up of installing a symmetrical pair of front trolleys 5 and rear trolleys 6. A square pipe-form pressure receiving body 23 is installed in a central part in the cross direction on top of each frame 9 of these trolleys 5 in the longitudinal direction. On the other hand, a movable body feeder 30 is installed in a specified spot on the specified route 3, and this feeder is made up of installing a servomotor 36 and a speed reducer 37 on the top of a support block 35 installed in a frame 31, and press rollers 43 is attached to the lower end of a drive shaft 40. Both these rollers 43 is made to be free of contact or separation by rocking the support block 35 around the vertical shaft, and when they are pressed to both sides of the pressure receiving body 23, the trolley unit 4 is traveled. |
