<p>PURPOSE:To improve the durability of bearings for main shaft by providing a second bearing for main shaft in a pulley and supporting the other end of the main shaft with the second bearing for main shaft. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 5 is comprised freely to rotate in the outer peripheral wall of a cylindrical part 2 provided in a front end plate 2 of a scroll type compressor 1 through a bearing 4 for pulley. A first bearing 10 for main shaft is comprised in the scroll type compressor 1 to support one end of a main shaft 11 freely to rotate. A second bearing 40 for main shaft is comprised in the inner peripheral wall of the pulley 4, and a ring 41 and a hub 12 are fixed in the tip of the main shaft 11 with a nut 42, and the ring 41 is engaged in the second bearing 40 for main shaft. Consequently, the second bearing 40 for main shaft supports the tip of the main shaft 11 through the ring 41 freely to rotate. A space between the first and the second bearings 10, 40 for main shaft thereby becomes large to male both the bearings 10, 40 strong against a load such as a moment to be applied to the main shaft 11 or the like, and the durability of the bearings 10, 40 for main shaft is improved.</p> |
