PURPOSE:To obtain a shrink film excellent in thermal shrinkability, transparency, impact resistance, flexibility, heat seal strength, orientability, etc., by using either an ethylenic copolymer having carbon-carbon unsatd. bonds or a compsn. obtd. by compounding the copolymer with a polyolefin compsn. CONSTITUTION:An ethylenic copolymer having carbon-carbon unsatd. bonds [e.g. a copolymer comprising 95-99.5wt.% ethylene and 0.01-5wt.% allyl and/or vinyl (meth)acrylate] or a compsn. obtd. by compounding the copolymer with a polyolefin compsn. is used for preparing a shrink film. A film prepd. from the copolymer or the compsn. obtd. as above can be crosslinked quickly under more mild conditions than the conventionally over and gives a high-performance shrink film having an excellent low-temp. shrinkability at a lower cost without degrading heat sealability. |
