摘要 PURPOSE:To expand the range of an installing location of an economical slave base station by allowing a master base station to implement communication with a satellite and transmitting/receiving a radio frequency signal between the master base station and the slave base station through an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A radio wave signal from a satellite is received by the antenna 1 of a master base station, given to a transmission/reception separator circuit 2, an optical signal is obtained by using an electrooptical conversion circuit 3, the optical signal is distributed into plural lines by an optical distributer 5, the distributed optical signal is sent to slave earth stations 9, 10, 11 through an optical fiber 7, and an optoelectrical conversion circuit 8 of each slave base station obtains a radio frequency signal. On the other hand, the radio frequency signal from each slave base station is transmitted to a satellite through the transmission/reception separator circuit 2 and the antenna 1 via an electrooptical conversion circuit 13, the optical fiber 12 of the slave base station, an optical synthesis circuit 6 and an optoelectric conversion circuit 4 of the master base station.
