The process comprises partial exchange of the sodium ions and total exchange of calcium and magnesium ions from the zeolite structure. The binder, e.g. kaolin or bentonite with potassium ions permits granulation. The calcined granules are thus prepd. from a mixt. of basic molecular sieve and binder.
