BRACING AND POSITIONING DEVICE

This invention consists of a device for supporting and positioning telescopic arms used for installing and removing mill liners in ore grinding ball mills.The device is made out of a frame laid on pillars. The telescopic arm is rested on an oscillating pad mounted on this frame, which can take over any small deviations due to deflection or shocks occurring during the technological process. Lateral guidance is realised with screws and the telescopic arm is placed into position according to the actual conditions required by the technological process by a gear assembly made out of a rack pinion. The pinion is driven by an electric motor and the rack is fastened on the telescopic arm.
