The invention relates to a device for making up a single strip of paper in the form of a roll from several cash-register strips, and for displaying the strip thus formed. The device consists of a base (1) to which is fixed a perpendicular frame (2) supporting, on the one hand, on its two vertical parts, two main horizontal spindles (3a, 3b) mounted so as to rotate and integral with two vertical discs (4a, 4b) fitted with a tread (15a, 15b) on their perimeters, each of the two treads interacting alternately with a driving spindle (5) by means of a mechanical device enabling each spindle to be rotated and, on the other hand, on its top horizontal part (2c), two other guide spindles (8a, 8b) mounted so as to rotate and parallel to the two previous spindles. <IMAGE>
