The present invention relates to a cardboard box of the type wrapped around objects to be packed. This box comprises fracture lines (L1, L2) on its top panel (1) and between this top panel and two opposite side panels (5), these fracture lines being constituted by small bridges of frangible cardboard (11, 12, 18, 19) separating open pre-cut notches or lines (13, 15, 16, 17) of relatively long length. The box according to this invention can contain any objects such as bottles and can be opened and re-closed without altering its aesthetics or its solidity. <IMAGE>
