PURPOSE:To reproduce the low saturation black of a ful-color image and to improve the transparency and fastness of yellow by blending two kinds of specified binding resins in a prescribed ratio and using two kinds of specified colorants. CONSTITUTION:This developer contains a toner contg. polyester-based resin (A) and styrene-acrylic resin (B) obtd. by copolymerizing a copolymerizable monomer contg. an amino group such as diethylamino-ethyl methacrylate as binding resins in (55:45)-(95:5) weight ratio of A:B and further contg. C.I. Pigment Yellow 12 (C) and C.I. Solvent yellow 162 (D) as colorants. The ring and ball softening point of both the resins A, B has been regulated to <=120 deg.C. The pref. amt. of the colorant C used is 4.0-1.0 pt. wt. per 100 pts. wt. of the resins A, B, that of the colorant D is 3.0-0.05 pt. wt. and the pref. total amt. of the colorants C, D is 5.0-1.5 pt. wt. |
