The present invention relates to a clutch of the sort including a reaction plate (1), a cover (2), a pressure plate (5) and located between the said pressure and reaction plates, at least two friction discs (9, 10) and at least two interposed discs (6, 7, 8), the said friction discs (9, 10) alternating with the interposed discs (6, 7, 8), in which clutch the interposed discs (7, 8) are rotationally connected to the reaction plate, by virtue of at least one intermediate drive piece (3), the interposed discs (7, 8) carrying a first part of a tenon/mortice connection, whereas the interposed piece carries the second part of the tenon/mortice connection, the said first part including at least two elements. According to the invention, the axis of symmetry (121) of at least one element (71, 81) of the first part of the tenons/mortices connection does not pass through the centre of rotation 0 of the interposed disc (7, 8) in question.
