The present invention concerns the sector involved in the finishing work on buildings. It relates to a device for supporting technical equipment floors, in particular computer room floors, the device being of the type consisting of a column of adjustable height which is itself formed by a sole plate, a screw-type leg and a mounting plate head which is intended to support profiles arranged in a network of square grids and on which the floor slabs rest. According to the invention, each junction, means for positioning at least two profiles (1, 1') with respect to one another, are formed by at least one removable part referred to as the key (2, 2') intended to be inserted in an adjustable manner in slots (3) formed at the ends of each of the said two profiles at least, each key (2, 2') comprises a central element (6, 6') and two lateral elements (7, 7') which are connected to each other at their upper part (8); a central slot (9) which opens out at one end is formed, in the case of one of the keys, referred to as the female key, (2), on its upper edge, and in the case of the other key, referred to as the male key, (2'), on its lower edge. <IMAGE>
