The subject of the invention is a new industrial product consisting of a pressure cooker whose gasket is the key element on which the whole system is based. It consists of a body (1) machined to receive the O-ring gasket in its inner groove and provided with external bayonets designed to secure the annular ring-stirrup (20) which will hold the gasket in place by covering it completely while the appliance is in use, in perfect safety, once the lid (2) has been raised by the pressure, so preventing any plastic flow. Adjustment takes place as pressure begins to be raised by a heat source, by means of the static needle [valve] with deflector (14) placed on the lid, which comprises on its lower part a special anti-locking filter [strainer] (11). The gasket ensures both the operation and the safety of the apparatus. <IMAGE>
