The present invention relates to a spraying boom which is articulated on a moving vehicle and can be deployed transversely for spraying products used in agriculture. This boom is characterised in that each boom arm (6) comprises at least three tubular sections (8, 9, 10) having a circular cross-section, forming two coplanar lower horizontal side members (8, 9), and at least one upper side member (10), and the vertical struts are formed by reinforcing plates (11) in the form of an isosceles trapezium having its small base uppermost, these plates being transverse with respect to the side members (8, 9, 10) and welded to the latter in the region of their top small bases and their bottom large bases. <IMAGE>
